Casa Colibrí is a bilingual Spanish/English forest preschool for children aged 3-5. We are located on 1.7 acres of field, forest and stream in Milwaukie, OR, about five minutes east of downtown. We spend nearly all of our time outside, combining exploration and free play with focused activities like storytelling, singing, art, nature science, and homesteading. About 50% of Casa Colibrí's instruction and curriculum is in Spanish.For the 2024-25 school year, we meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-1. For the 2025-26 school year, we will meet Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9-1.
